Improvements and innovations in next-generation 15-inch MacBook Pro
Monohull
The MacBook Pro comes Apple with the new design concept of Mac: the monocoque. The monocoque is a laptop casing produced with incredible accuracy in an aluminum block. The result is not only a laptop that looks great with its polished finish and smooth edges, is also more than able to absorb the vagaries of life in motion.
In addition, the monocoque enabled Apple to make the MacBook Pro is lighter and thinner. This powerful feature-packed laptop now weighs only 2.49 kg (5.5 pounds), and its thickest point is 2.41 cm (0.95 inches).
Monitor
MacBook Pro 15.4-inch screen is still glossy widescreen LED backlight with a resolution of 1440 x 900 pixels. The fact that these specifications have not changed certainly no cause for concern because the quality is first kind. Apple has managed to improve, however, with a glass facade that covers the entire inner surface, thus replacing a metal frame. The glass looks better, is more stronger and lasts longer. Also free of arsenic, a toxin released when recycled glass.
Multi-Touch Trackpad
Another notable feature of the MacBook Pro is the largest, most versatile trackpad. The etched glass trackpad now has a smooth surface 39% greater than before. This gives plenty of room for your fingers to indicate any trackpad.
These signals have also been developed and now include some useful extras. Apple has released a sheet of four fingers, for example, that maximizes the increase in the size of the trackpad. Slide four fingers of the right or left, and that creates the application Switcher. This lets you see all open applications. Four Finger Swipe up or down, and invites you to show your presentation on your desktop or any open window.
